The Furry Outpost Is one of the most popular hangouts for Furries in Second Life in the Epirrita Sim. The Place was set up in 2005 as the Furry Vermin Outpost.

Rules

1. be respectful: A simple rule. By definition is to be respectful of everyone which comes to the furry outpost. Of other furries, humans, robots, staff, DJ’s, Management, generally everyone that teleports in here. Show them the level of respect that they deserve. If there is a problem with a fur or even with people which work at the furry outpost. Do not be afraid to IM any of the staffers of the Furry Outpost (Listed Above)

2. Item Rezzing: its okay to temporarily rez items to show people at the Furry Outpost when a DJ is not active. Keep in mind members which are not a part of the Furry Outpost groups will have their items returned after 10 minutes. Members which are a part of the furry outpost group are reminded to clean up when they are done building, if there is a DJ playing or an event and you still wish to continue building that you can move your project into the basement or the asylum yard next to the Furry Outpost. Always clean up your prims when you’re done with them.

3. Gestures: Please use gestures sparingly and whenever a DJ is not on the air. Gesture spamming interferes with the music playing experience of the DJ and is rude and offensive. When asked to stop using gestures by the DJ, Staff, or Management please be respectful and deactivate your gestures.

4. Guns: Guns must be peace bound and not attached to your hands or pointing at anyone at the Furry Outpost. This rule is in place because even if your gun has no script, or has a safety script turned on. That it still makes people uneasy when you walk up pointing the barrel at them. The furry outpost is a relaxed environment. Those which wish to test out guns there's plenty of sims which will be more than happy to accommodate your needs.

5. Vehicles: Rezzing those on our street are fine. Please don't drive them into the buildings. It's a space issue.

6. Begging : Anyone asking for money will be told kindly to stop, If it is continued a ban shall be issued. Anyone who sets up a donation kiosk without the permission of Furry Outpost management will be subject of their kiosk returned and an instant perma-ban. Anyone placing a tip-jar out which is not a DJ or has no immediate permission from the furry outpost to do so will also be perma-banned. We take the deliberate confusion and assault on the finances of our club listeners very seriously. Any ads of any kind in the outpost or group will also not be tolerated.

7. Nudity: It is allowed within moderation. Keep it tasteful, no Hard-ons, sex-pose balls or adult images. No hyper gentitailia.

8. Role-playing: Although we are a mature sim. Role-playing of a sexual nature will be asked to take it somewhere else. Also, role-playing systems which prey upon users by lying about their intensions (offered a hug when in fact you are invited to a group after they bite you such as groups similar to "Bloodlines") will not be tolerated here at the outpost. Anyone caught using a system similar to Bloodlines will be banned instantly.

9. Greifing: Any level of negative profane or inappropriate scripts such as particle spamming, grey goo droppers, sim-crashing systems will be banned unquestionably.

10. Enforcement: The management, it's DJ's and staff will have the final say about what happens when someone breaks these rules or disrespects someone here at the Furry Outpost. A warning is generally given. However, do not expect us to play the three strike system. Everyone who comes here is at least 18 years of age and as expected to act like a mature adult. Of a DJ determines that you should be banned during your set then do not expect an appeal from the management or owners of the Furry outpost.

11. Government: the Linden Terms of Service (TOS) are strictly enforced here.anyone breaking a Linden rule will be AR'd and banned from here, without exception. It’s just common courtesy, folks. We want everyone to have fun.

Events

Following the events board on the wall, the outpost has several DJ Events occuring on schedule. There are also DJ's Playing off schedule who are not listed on the board.
