Fluke the Husky, or just Fluke, also known as Skaylez, is an artist, fursuiter, and YouTuber who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. Fluke is also in love with Tirox.
Contents
Fandom involvement
Fluke discovered the furry fandom through DeviantArt, later via Fur Affinity in 2012. He both commissioned and drew art of his blue husky fursona, developing Fluke’s style. His artist name on FA is Skaylez. His first fur con was Further Confusion 2015, where he saw his first fursuit dance competition. It wasn’t until Biggest Little Fur Con 2017 when he participated in his first competition. Since then, he is frequently seen on the dance floor competing, whether it be in Floor Wars or dance competitions.
Fursona
FlukeHusky's fursona is a blue husky, distinguished by his lighter blue spots and curly tail. He often wears props, his most popular being a crown.
Fursuits
FlukeHusky debuted Fluke 1.0 in Biggest Little Fur Con 2017, and Fluke 2.0 at Biggest Little Fur Con 2018. Fluke 1.0 was self-made, while Fluke 2.0 was created by FursuitsByLacy.
Fluke the dancer
Fluke has a background in theatre and singing/performing. He toured professionally for a show choir in 2015, and since then his performing hobby took off. Fluke has performed in multiple furry dance competitions, placing first in Biggest Little Fur Con 2018’s floor wars, first in DenFur 2018’s Fursuit Dance Competition, and first in Fur Grounds 2018 (formerly kerfluffle), which is an online floor wars dance comp hosted by iBolt.
YouTube
In early 2019 Fluke launched his YouTube channel, submitting videos once a week. In a few months, he reached 10k subscribers. Fluke’s videos mainly consist of Q&A’s and him drawing other furries' fursonas.
On October 25, 2020 he reached 100K subscribers.
