Furvine, also known as the Furvine Furmeet, is an all-ages bimonthly furry meet held in Southern California, USA.

Overview[edit]

Furvine is hosted at the William R. Mason Regional Park in Irvine, California.[1]

It is run in a potluck-style fashion, with attendees being encouraged to contribute snacks, games, supplies, and similar goods[2]. The event has grown to include a variety of activities and features, such as the presence of a ball pit with plushies, karaoke, and playtime with a playground parachute, to name a few. The activities vary between each meet. Freshly grilled burgers and hot dogs are prepared and served in the early afternoon, and a group photo is taken mid-afternoon. Some regular attendees have celebrated their birthdays at Furvine, bringing treats and goodies for all.

It is typical for Furvine to consider seasonal events and incorporate them into a theme for a given meet date. For example, during June's event, Furvine celebrates pride month, and during October, a costume contest is held for Halloween.

Typically, Furvine takes place on the third Saturday of every other month[3], and lasts from mid-morning to late afternoon. The event has been ongoing since September 2023.

Furvine draws an average of over 100 attendees, with a reported peak turnout of over 200 furries[4].

Trivia[edit]

  • The team behind Furvine also runs the SoCal FurBowl bowling meet, based in Irvine as well. Unlike Furvine, the FurBowl is not a monthly event, and it only occurs a couple of times a year.
  • Furvine's mascot, Culver Coyote, was created in March 2025. Their name is likely a reference to one of Irvine's major streets, Culver, which William R. Mason Regional Park is situated next to.
  • In December, Furvine does not host their usual potluck meetup at William R. Mason Regional Park, but instead arranges an evening photoshoot-style event at Irvine's Great Park for the holidays[5].
  • Until late 2025, Furvine was a monthly event before switching to its bimonthly schedule.
