Mephit Furmeet 2 (a.k.a. MFM2) was held on September 4 to 7, 1998 in Memphis, Tennessee. For the convention's second year, the venue had moved to the Holiday Inn Select Memphis East.
According to the Anthropomorphic Fandom Convention Information Sheet, MFM2 had a total attendance of 188.
Guest of Honor[edit]
MFM's first guest of honor in 1998 was Bill Holbrook, cartoonist and webcomics creator of Kevin and Kell.
Annual T-shirt design contest[edit]
Joe Rosales was the winner of the popular vote for the T-shirt design.
