Mephit Furmeet 13, aka MFM 13, the thirteenth annual Mephit Furmeet, took place September 4-6, 2009, at the Holiday Inn Select at Memphis International Airport in Memphis, Tennessee. At the closing ceremony it was announced that this was the convention's final year at this location, and starting with Mephit Fur Meet 14 the convention would be located at the Whispering Woods Hotel & Conference Center in Olive Branch, Mississippi, about ten miles away.
The theme for MFM 13 was "Murder Mystery". Attendance was approximately 550 guests, the fursuit parade had 84 participants, and the convention raised $5472[1] for Tiger Haven.
Guest of Honor[edit]
The guest of honor for 2009 was Isfacat.
Annual T-shirt design contest[edit]
Blackfrost was the winner of the popular vote for the T-shirt front design.
The director's choice for the T-shirt back design was Oldfreek.
The staff's choice for the convention staff T-shirts was (for the second year in a row) Cirrel.
