Mephit Furmeet 2000 (a.k.a. MFM 2000 or MFM2000) was held on September 1 to 4, 2000 at the Holiday Inn Select Memphis East in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.A. This fourth Mephit Furmeet had a total attendance of 405.[1]
Kodian took over organization of the convention from founder GrowlTiger and would remain the chair until Mephit Furmeet 2001.
Scenes from MFM4 appeared in the documentary Fans and Freaks from Nashville-area directors Stephen and Suzie Lackey.
Guest of Honor[edit]
The guest of honor for 2000 was short story author Dave "Plonq" Braun.
Annual T-shirt design contest[edit]
Herbie Bearclaw was the winner of the popular vote for the T-shirt design.
