Regarding article Personal Exclusion (article removal) from Wikifur[edit]

• Please consult the Wikifur's page about "article exclusion" first.
• The request must be made by the article's user ONLY, with some exceptions (next of kin, lawyer/barrister, etc...).
• The exclusion will delete the ability for others to edit it any further, plus a protection layer is added by Wikifur's curators so is no longer searchable on such sites such as Google.
• NOTE: Removal of personal information is normally not the same as exclusion, and it can be done without needing curator assistance.
• The request can be made in a myriad of ways (Email, Bluesky, or Fur Affinity's DM), but the best way is to send me a DM via BlueSky at "SpirouWikifur” (Requests via Twitter [X] is no longer possible as the account is no longer operational).

Error creating thumbnail[edit]

Error: Unable to access jarfile /usr/local/share/java/batik/batik-rasterizer-1.16.jar

I'm not quite sure what this means in terms of the SVG. Is it a server-side issue? Or should I try tweaking with the settings of the file. Or for now should I just leave it with the PNG version. Xalsier ^talk 17:04, 21 November 2025 (EST)

Tried, having the same issue as you. GreenReaper should be more savvy, and I contacted him a couple of days ago because I am having a flag issue in the convention infobox for Further Confusion (the USA and (???) flags appear at the same time in the location line). Deleting my own private event page[edit]

Why am i not allowed to delete my own private event page when i kep being harassed by other fur? I already have reported said person for personally attacking me and the local private information protection is looking into my case. I have further proof that the person who runs the local community page is harassing me putting my name and slandering it on her website for local furries and then deleting it when i reported it to the same agents for private protection. Dark-stardragon keeps naming me here and on her Icelandfurs website, and I keep removing it from her. Also, she kept editing my personal page and the IceFurCabin page. The event has always been private until on year when a friend wanted to open it up and from there it got closed as i got Banned from the community because people dont like my rules and kept attacking me and she still keeps on naming my event as part or used to be part of her icelandfurs when Icelandfurs is just her group and it has pushed me out of the fandom as i have had my phone number and other private info leaked by her group and she yet keps harassing me online. It has gotten to the point that people show up at my apartment and call me to threaten me. Send you on Twitter or X some screenshots I also did on Bluesky - Abby-Fennec (talk)

It is very difficult to give Abby-Fennec personal credit for their contributions to the community without mentioning them (they accused us of not giving credit). They keep pushing us towards having to post a disclaimer, since they are keeping many of the group's social accounts hostage (even the furaffinity) and posts drama to them every time they have a falling out with the community, impersonating IcelandFurs. They harass members and even their relatives outside of the group and blames us for any consequences. The constant gaslighting and drama gets tiring, almost a decade of it. Also i made my own group named IcelandFurz and i have not talked to any members other than friends. Convention template strikes[edit]

Hello! So I just wanted to clarify something up, I've been adding strikes on years where the convention was either postponed or cancelled in the convention templates. This is from me patterning what GreenReaper did for FurryPinas 2020 in the FurryPinas template, which I noticed back when I was first editing the Filipino pages. I noticed that you've been removing them in some of the templates I've updated and I just wanted to clarify whether or not strike-throughs should be used to indicate cancelled/postponed events? Hallo back. Before 2025, all convention articles were using hundreds of different convention edit layouts, so from 2025 onwards, starting with Anthrocon and the (WIP) WikiFur's furry conventions unified template project, we started to unify the con layout look (strikethroughs were only used only in a handful of con articles and were/are distracting [not a clean edit, more of an old typewriter look], so they are not used in new articles or when formatting old ones).

The hope is to finish all convention edits by summer, then move the convention unified template to the Furry Book of Style page to help on future entries. Just FYI. - Spirou (talk) 14:51, 4 February 2026 (EST)

Alright understood! Will retroactively go through all I edited to be more in line. Related question, italicizing the entries in the convention template to denote upcoming events that have yet to occur (i.e. remaining 2026 events and upcoming 2027 events), I assume that practice also outdated?

Also suggestion to provide a link to your template in the Help:Furry_Book_of_Style#Articles_about_conventions_and_events or Template:New_Convention, I know you said the plan is to move after the convention edits but speaking from experience as a new editor who started last year, I was using the template found there as a guide because I didn't know there was a more updated one to follow. ;;w;; --Pheodore (talk) 06:57, 6 February 2026 (EST)

Creation of Separate Anthrocat Page[edit]

User page deletion[edit]

I would like to have my page deleted from Wikifur as I have moved on from the fandom and have already had one RL acquaintance discover my fursona work and begin asking very, very awkward questions. I requested this via the forum back in December but did not receive a response of any sort, after attempting to edit it and remove my information myself.

Title of Ursa Major Awards graphic story[edit]

Hello Spirou! Regarding the titles of the entries in the 2025 Ursa Major Awards graphic story category, the title of the entry "Incomplete Control" (which I am the creator of) was incorrectly listing the title of the previous year's comic book collection on Amazon, rather than the current online comic series itself which is what was up for nomination. The official Ursa Major Awards site clearly states "Incomplete Control" as the entry and links to the comic's main site on Comicfury rather than on Amazon, hence why I changed the title back to simply just "Incomplete Control" for the sake of consistency. I hope that there will be no further issues where this is

Hallo and thanks for the reply/explanation!. Removal of valid data (connected to the comic, but not the intended comic) without explanation is always suspect, so thank you again for clarifying the issue, being the author in question.

The removal left editors without a way to connect the award to the webcomic until a proper new article could be generated.

Right category for event page[edit]

Hello Spirou! I helped create the Growl page and noticed the category was changed from "local event" to "furmeet," which isn't quite accurate. Growl is a party held on a roughly bimonthly basis — not a furmeet. I originally categorized it as a local event because "rave" falls under conventions same with Room party, and Growl is not in a convention neither associate with one. I'd love to find the right category together — do you have a suggestion for how it should be classified? Thanks for your work on the wiki! Mochee

Can you please revert the vandal[edit]

Harassment from X is now on my profile and talk page, There are a couple of people on X who were harassing me calling me all sorts because I associated with another furry they didn't like, I'm no longer on X because I left a comment about banning a music concert because it was used to promote hate and I got mass reported. These two people think I'm a registered mod here and they have all sorts of random untrue beliefs, I know anyone can revert stuff but I would prefer if you looked at it and did so if it's against the rules thanks. I don't engage with these people and I'm sorry it's come here for some reason as all I'm just doing is working on my sites, projects, and personal improvement learning etc. I can't do anything about the group on X as I'm not allowed on there with alts or business accounts I assume.

Question about Art Book Cover[edit]

For the Transform Into A Furry: Two-Dimensional Beast Design Creation Collection art book, you uploaded a cover a while back. I was wondering where you found the image- for a lot of the sources I was only able to find a picture of the book tilted at a 30 degree angle. I ask because I'm trying to find a website with the cover image that the Goodreads Librarians would accept since they're a bit discerning about their sources, and right now they just have a no image placeholder for the book.
