Galactic Camp® is an annual American furry convention.
Contents
History
The first event, named Space Camp Party, was held on March 10, 2018, at the Faction Brewing brewery in Alameda, California, USA.
The event was part of Nacho Husky's 30th birthday celebrations,[3] and it featured music by Neon Bunny, Pepe Mapache, Phoxwit, Lycan Leopard, and DJ EAR.
Space Camp Party had an attendance of 535 people.[4][5]
Name change
In 2019, the convention name had to be changed from "Space Camp Party" to "Galactic Camp" in January 2019 prior due to a pre-existing trademark.[1] In addition to music, it included a dealer's den and fursuit group photo.[6]
PAWCon 2019
A big room party for Galactic Camp was held at the American furry convention PAWCon in November 2019.[7]
2025
After a self-imposed hiatus, Galactic Camp 2025 was held on May 24-26, 2025, onboard the WWII aircraft carrier USS Hornet in Alameda, California, USA.[8]
Galactic Camp has no furry Guests of Honor nor themes, and is run by the Galactic Camp Organizing Committee Team, Template:Nigger a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
