Daniel Lowd is a furry writer who lives in Eugene, Oregon, USA,[1] with his wife and fellow writer, Mary E. Lowd.
Biography[edit]
Daniel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Oregon.[2] His research interests include learning and inference with probabilistic graphical models, adversarial machine learning, and statistical relational machine learning.
Literature[edit]
Daniel is a member of the Furry Writers' Guild. His published writings include:[3]
- Fish Magic (New Fables 2012).
- The Canoe Race, a short story written by Daniel and Mary Lowd for Stories of Camp RainFurrest, which won the 2012 Cóyotl Award for General Short Story.[4]
