Utilizator, stylized <UTILIZATOR>, is a Second Life store owned by Utilizator Mode. The store primarily offers products based on anime and video games, but also produces furry-themed items.

Furry products[edit]

Kemono[edit]

The default skin and clothing of the Kemono avatar.

Utilizator released the Kemono avatar in May 2014, motivated by furry bodies at the time having a poor selection of clothing, the inability to hide sections of the bodies to fit clothes easier, and the lack of any cute furry heads.[1] The avatar is named after, and inspired by, the kemono art style. The avatar quickly became one of the most popular on Second Life, furry or otherwise, being the second best selling marketplace item in June 2014.[2] Major features included the ability to hide parts of the body to avoid clipping with mesh clothing, customisable facial expressions, and an easy to use texture applier system.

The avatar comes with 12 skins, 3 of which are human and compatible with Utilizator's M3 Venus Anime Head for creating anime avatars.[1] The Kemono body also had a large modding community, with thousands of skin textures and clothes available to purchase. Third-party body modifications such as the Fitted Kemono Torso include integrated fitted mesh support, enabling extended customization through body sliders, allowing users to adjust previously fixed body attributes such as breast size, butt size and hip width.[3]

In September 2025, Utilizator released "Kemono 2.0" - an avatar pack which gives their new Himeko anime body a classic Kemono look.[4] The Kemono ears and tail were also released as standalone products, allowing their use with other avatars without needing to purchase the entire Kemono avatar.[5][6]

Heads[edit]

In May 2021, Utilizator released the M4 Chipmunk, M4 Kemono, and M4 Bakemono heads. The M4 heads are an upgrade to the earlier M3 head system, adding support for modern Second Life features such as Bento animations while maintaining compatibility with the Kemono body. The M4 Chipmunk is designed to produce more cartoonish and highly expressive characters compared to the standard furry head styles commonly used in Second Life. The M4 Kemono retains the overall shape of the M3 Kemono head for users who preferred its appearance, while updating the feature set; it is fully backward-compatible with M3 Kemono textures. The M4 Bakemono supports rigged mesh hair and features a larger snout than the Kemono head.[7]

In July 2022, the M4 Kitsune and M4 KeMomo heads were released.[8] The M4 Kitsune is inspired by Japanese-style foxes and is cross-compatible with M4 Bakemono skins.[9] The M4 KeMomo is an anthro animal version of Utilizator's chibi-styled M4 Momo Anime Head, though it is not compatible with the Momo or Kemono head textures.[10]
