Talk:Furry Novel List

The list is a version of the Furry novel List that was once posted in the Usenet group alt.fan.furry (original archived here).

Hopefully, the format of the existing list will be respected (unless somebody completely re-edits it into a superior format, of course). For the purposes of the list, a "furry novel" is defined as a novel containing at least one major furry character/plot thread - the presence of humans not being grounds for disqualification. "Furry characters" being recognisable as anthropomorphised animals or having other animal-like characteristics and preferably not exotic creatures or aliens whose only qualification is a fur covering. That allows an animal-type to be associated with each entry.

While I think having historial version(s) of the Furry Novel List on WikiFur is great, and certain an article about the list, I don't feel WikiFur is the appropriate place to extend upon the list in that format. -- Sine 14:55, 4 February 2012 (EST)

Since I took the site with the historical version down, it is as you say, useful to have a copy of the archived version. It's also useful to have an editable version so that nobody's inclined to edit the archived version. It might fit better with the stuff elsewhere on the wiki to merge the list with the novel category page, but that would be one heck of a lot of work. There are other lists on the wiki, so it's not completely out of place.--Farry 17:51, 4 February 2012 (EST)
