Whelpday is a Furspeech term for "Birthday." Alt.lifestyle.furry currently runs the furry tradition called the The Whelpday Care Package[1], where as, any furs with birthdays during a particular time period will receive whelpday wishes from the denizens of The Homestead. One of the best known Whelpday wishers is, of course, the Whelpday Mousette.
Variations[edit]
Hatchday or hatchling day is the Featheries and Scalies term.
Foaling day is the furry equine fan term.
Another variant of this term being used frequently is Borkday. A more direct version that is a portmanteau of "Bork" (a mutation of "Bark"), and "Birthday"
