Wombat Divine

Wombat Divine is the title of a children's book written by Mem Fox and illustrated by Kerry Argent. It was first published by Harcourt Children's Books in October 1996, with ISBN 0152014169.
Wombat Divine tells the story of a wombat who desperately wants to be part of a nativity play being performed by a group of native Australian animals.
In 2006, Wombat Divine was chosen as the theme of the yearly Christmas displays in the windows of Myer department stores in Australia, with the story depicted in a series of animatronic tableaux.
