Wolfaboo is a Cringe Culture[1] term for someone who is thought of as overly obsessed with wolves. "Wolfaboo" comes from the slang "weeaboo", meaning someone who is considered to be extremely obsessed with Japan. Stereotypical wolfaboos believe that the life of a wolf is greater than the life of a human, and might defend, or glorify wolves killing humans (despite actual wolf attacks being incredibly rare)[2]. They are often known to commonly misspell the plural of wolf; for example using "wolfs" instead of "wolves". The term has also been used to describe furries, especially those whose fursonas are sparkledogs. They are often looked down upon by therians engaging in respectability politics[3] for "making them look bad".
