A couple of comments: For brainstorming ideas for swag, I would recommend looking over 4Imprint's website. I've used them for many different sponsor and registration giveaways at Midwest FurFest and they're a joy to work with (and priced competitively, too!)

Also, if a roundtable is indeed a possibility, I would recommend officially submitting the idea for a panel ASAP.----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 12:17, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Agreed, We'll need to discuss exactly what we might discuss at the panel (should we have one) and submit it immediately. I'll also take a look at 4imprint, thanks for the tip :) ---- JaeSharp 18:57, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

A note on swag[edit]

Time is getting short; given the times involved in ordering, artwork proofing, and shipping, I would strongly suggest that the decision be made and the order be placed no later than June 8 or we may wind up having to pay rush processing and shipping fees.----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 14:53, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Yes. I already have a quote request on the carabiners, and if the price is right I intend to go with them + con badge holders, either just for WikiFur contributors or more likely for all interested parties (hey, we have a table to get it out to them . . ). We have a design made and sampled as you can see. Ideally we would ship those direct to the hotel - I don't mind carrying 500 conbadge holders, but 100 or 500 carabiners would probably be a little much. :-) --GreenReaper(talk) 15:39, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Badge holder attachment method[edit]

We're probably getting badge-holders. Pin is cheapest, but there's a sale on the type with elastic neck-cords (and looking around, 10 cents is a good price for neck cords). Think people will find them more useful? I understand pins may damage clothing and won't work so well for things like fursuits, so I am guessing more people would want to wear a neck-cord, but I've not had much experience with them - most of the badges I've seen came with clips (which are really a bit too expensive, I think). --GreenReaper(talk) 22:21, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

The one person who got back to me on this so far said that they significantly preferred neck cords or clips over pins. I feel they will be more likely to be useful in the long run, and the price is right for the ones with the elastic neck cords, so I am going to buy them. --GreenReaper(talk) 00:38, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
