Mark Allen's Pet Project[edit]

I believe that this article meets all of the FA critera. It also covers an area that is lacking in FA's, which is comedy shows realted to the fandom, performed by someone who is NOT a furry themself. The article is referenced, contains an image and I believe covers the main points. ISD 12:54, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Agreed. It's shorter than I'd like, but to be honest I'm not sure how it could be extended. We also need some variety on the front page. --GreenReaper(talk) 17:33, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Uncle Kage[edit]

I think that an article about the most wellknown furry in the fandom should be featured. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ariana Windstorm (talkcontribs) .

But is it a good article? It's the quality rather than the topic that defines whether or not someone should be featured. --GreenReaper(talk) 02:26, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
I agree. I'm generally opposed to person articles as a principle, however. Vanity articles are one thing, featuring someone on the front page is something else. Spaz Kitty 02:50, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Unfortunately, we've seen precedent here before, such as Banrai. My vote will go either way.--Kendricks Redtail 03:26, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
The article is currently mostly a Trivia section. I don't support it as a featured article. --Rat 05:47, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Trivia sections can often be rewritten and incorporated into an article. I agree with your oppose with the article the way it is. Certainly there is a lot of public information of one of the most wellknown furries that we could form of this and make it into a FA-worthy article.--Kendricks Redtail 05:50, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
I did a lot of work on Wikipedia:Samuel Conway, which might be a good place to start. Obviously not all that is relevant there is relevant here. --GreenReaper(talk) 06:42, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

I've given the article a bit of a rewrite and pending review by other editors and such, I think this would be a better submission for a featured article.--Kendricks Redtail 08:10, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

It's on the right track. Still a bit short for a featured article. --Rat 01:33, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Length has nothing to do with it, as much as quality does, I think.--Kendricks Redtail 07:39, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
Hey, I agree that quality is important. However, for someone in the fandom as long as he has and in as many roles, it's current length is muchly inadequate. --Rat

Megaplex[edit]

A significantly-sized article with several sub-articles on each convention (though they could do with improvement). Good timing, as recent changes have resulted in a turnaround in falling attendance. --GreenReaper(talk) 18:18, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Greek mythology[edit]

Detailed; gives examples and pictures; referenced; very relevant to modern furry fandom --Kendricks Redtail 10:14, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Support - I have no objection, though I'm not an expert to this topic --Xkun(talk) 23:45, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
