Otherkin[edit]

Nice and long, lots of details, but could really do with more input from others and could perhaps do with breaking up a bit more. Are there some public-domain or otherwise available otherkin-related pictures that we could use for this purpose? --GreenReaper(talk) 20:51, 25 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Another similar candidate for consideration is Therianthropy. Spaz Kitty 10:09, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Lacking references, needs images. --Rat 01:44, 14 June 2007 (UTC)
It's got one image now, and several references for the origins of the term and the history behind it. I'm not sure it really needs any more images, and it seems relatively complete and in-depth, so I'm going to put it up. --GreenReaper(talk) 02:59, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Yiffstar[edit]

I featured this article because it was reasonably long and detailed, had some good information about the history of the site, and because it is of interest to a large number of furs. The fact that it just passed 25,000 submissions may have been a factor in choosing to polish it to that point . . . --GreenReaper(talk) 04:46, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

All Fur Fun[edit]

Support Detailed, has references, maybe could use a couple more pictures. --Rat 00:20, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Moderate Support Love the indepth details, could use a few pictures of just general conventioning, however, my main concern is that in future years, this article will be broken up as RCFM's article was and it won't qualify anymore as featured article quality. Other convention articles should be reviewed in the same way. --Kendricks Redtail

Califur[edit]

The whole series of Califur articles is under consideration. The article has improved a lot on the wiki. It has everything a featured article needs: commentary, references, and pictures. --Rat 20:54, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Kendricks Redtail[edit]

A very well written article that features a lot of information. He's also a very active member in the furry fandom, including here! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ariana Windstorm (talkcontribs) .

Um, yay me?--Kendricks Redtail
Again, a bit lacking in references but in this case, they're more self-explanatory and not as controversial, but could still be improved. But still support. --Rat 05:53, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

LAFF[edit]

A major group that does a lot in furry, has several hundred members. Multiple articles about their events too.--LAFFur 20:04, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Individually the article isn't very large, so I think featuring the group of them all together is appropriate. --GreenReaper(talk) 12:56, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Minotaur[edit]

Very detailed and accurate in describing the legend and the background history behind the legend as well as relevance to the furry fandom, wonderful pictures and layout.--Kendricks Redtail 21:57, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

It is indeed well laid-out. Pictures are nice. A good read in general. Not very furry, but there's a limit to the number of things you can say about furries and minotaurs. Needed extra Wikipedia links and a few tweaks, but it's good enough to be featured. --GreenReaper(talk) 01:17, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Therianthropy[edit]

People often confuse furries and therians. I think furries also confuse therians and crazy people, or like to use them as an excuse ("oh, you don't mean furries, you mean therians . . ."). This article goes some way towards addressing that. It goes into quite a bit of detail covering the various ways in which therianthropy may be experienced and expressed, and I doubt anyone who actually read it would be quick to say something like "therians are the people who think they are animals," which I've heard on a few occasions. --GreenReaper(talk) 00:54, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

Banrai[edit]

I don't normally like to feature articles about people, as we have more than enough of them, and they're often rather trivial. However, this one actually has an important topic in it, art theft - and an example of how to go about redeeming a bad reputation. It is also well laid-out and appears relatively complete, including detailed biographical information which helps the reader understand the actions behind the name. --GreenReaper(talk) 01:50, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

The Astonishing Treehouse of the Secret Moon[edit]

A fairly long article with good descriptions of the locations and roleplay. The handover was a controversial topic, but the controversy is well-covered, though could be checked for NPOV by those who perhaps know it better. --GreenReaper(talk) 22:22, 25 Dec 2005 (UTC)

The Lion King MUCK[edit]

This could be a great featured article - I think it just needs a bit more about the history of the muck. Sectioning is good, and there's certainly a lot of information in there. --GreenReaper(talk) 02:33, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

I personally think TLK Muck should be next. --Kitch 00:45, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Given that a lot of this history is in the other sections, which I've moved up, I agree. --GreenReaper(talk) 01:04, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

Balloonie[edit]

A good, well-written description of the sub-genre. Has a picture and links to associated sub-genre. --GreenReaper(talk) 02:20, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

Jack Lynch Mysteries[edit]

Gives a good overview of the characters and the short stories that they occupy without giving away too much detail. Rather more is given on the background so that potential readers know the setting. Well written prose. No real need for a picture given the content. --GreenReaper(talk) 23:58, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
