Violet Fornax is one of the five ratel sisters who make up the musical group Fornax, as created by Matt J. McCullar.
During Trevor Sarnoff's visit to the Fornax home in Saunim, Violet almost choked during dinner; Trevor saved her life using an abdominal thrust technique his father had taught him years before. When Violet later asked why he saved her, he repeated a line he had seen earlier (and that is sometimes used as a tagline for the series) - "What is beautiful, never dies."
