Spike the Dog[edit]

What "clean-up" does this article need, please? SPIKE 04:45, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

PS--As below, I've waited a week and will delete {{cleanup}} from the article. I'll be happy to implement specific recommendations if you advise me on this article's talk page or on my user talk page. SPIKE 04:40, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Cleanup?[edit]

You placed a {{cleanup}} template on Ultimate Furry Survey 2011, though after looking at Help:Furry_Book_of_Style, I don't notice anything wrong with it. Supuhstar * § 18:07, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

I will take your lack of response as meaning that you don't have a reason to put the template there. It has been removed. Supuhstar * § 02:03, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

I reinstate the original question for Ultimate Furry Survey 2. Supuhstar * § 04:20, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

I cite the same reasoning for removing the banner on UFS2 Supuhstar * § 06:18, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

?[edit]

Sorry, I seem to have rollbacked your page instead of another intended article Spirou 01:07, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Hello! You used the {{Limited_license}} template on these media files, but left out necessary information. Please insert the name of the artist(s)/author(s), the license(s), and the specific terms into the template reference (i.e., {{Limited_license|artist|license|specific limitations}}) for each file. Alternatively, you can review the list of license templates at Wikifur:Templates/Image_Page_Templates and select more appropriate ones. Thanks! --GingerM (Leave me a message) 19:48, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

question about maho's page[edit]

hi, Thanks for revise my page and correct some spelling mistake, but i don't understand why you delete the 'infobox artist' template.

Categories on redirects[edit]

The usual reason for a category on a redirect is that the topic of the redirect is covered in one article, but it would be better for it to be in certain categories under another name. For example, FoxNorn has an alt, WolfNorn. WolfNorn should be in Category:Wolf characters, but should also redirect to FoxNorn. --GreenReaper(talk) 00:26, 28 April 2011 (EDT)

Well, that's an exciting change! In the case of the one I just took categories off, it's an alternate name that had the categories of a past fursona; are we now putting categories on in that case as well? -- Sine 00:27, 28 April 2011 (EDT)
I've been doing it for years when merging characters into one page or adding redirects for alts - it just seemed to make more sense than having "Fox characters" + "Wolf characters" on an article about one or the other. In the case you mentioned, I figured that people who were looking for a lynx character they remembered would want the old name to appear in those categories, and it doesn't cause confusion in the way that the categories might if they were on the main article. I admit I probably wouldn't have done it like that if they hadn't changed the name. (Of course, that gets into whether the species categories are actually useful to people - I honestly don't know if/how they're used. Not that I'm in a rush to get rid of them, either . . .) --GreenReaper(talk) 00:35, 28 April 2011 (EDT)

Question about Ziko Ticondrias Page[edit]

Im confused, there are no spelling errors, and the page setup/format is like Many other pages on here that have been here for years. You keep making all the bolding, spacing, and everything go away and putting it all in one big text blob. Um...why?--jaga(talk) 6/4/2011 4:35PM (EST)

Template talk:United Kingdom[edit]

Thanks for the suggestions - I'll sort those out. Incidentally, are there any guidelines on what goes (or doesn't) go in a template ? I've omitted articles about furs, obviously, but what about things such as Cadbury Caramel Bunny and Foxy Bingo ? They're of relevance to the fandom due to the anthro nature of the characters, so I'm not arguing about whether or not an article should exist, but they're also more advertising "gimmicks" than anything else - it there some minimum "trivia" level below which it's just silly to include them in a template ?

Also, what about items with global reach - e.g. HardDrive Radio ? I didn't include it in the template as the article itself wasn't tagged as UK related, even though it's broadcast by two British furs from a British location..... since it's an internet broadcast, and is accessible anywhere in the world, is there actually any sense of a geographical "location" for these sorts of items ? ( Replied at User talk:Bezel. -- Sine 13:38, 15 June 2011 (EDT) )

Trivia[edit]

I didn't re-add it. It reappeared when Xydexx edited the article, while the section he edited disappeared, though the reference he added stayed. Do you know why that is? Equivamp 18:53, 17 June 2011 (EDT)

Artist Infoboxes[edit]

One of them was removed from a page I had edited. Are we not doing these anymore?76.210.149.143 23:08, 25 July 2011 (EDT)

See Template talk:Infobox artist for discussion. -- Sine 00:00, 26 July 2011 (EDT)

Care to join in a cleaning project?[edit]

At the moment I've got User:Sine/CleanupStubs showing Category:Articles that need to be wikified from smallest size on up. I was thinking it might be a cleanup project you'd like to take part in, but no worries if the idea doesn't strike your fancy! -- Sine 15:12, 28 July 2011 (EDT)

Things to do today, but I might pick at the list later.--Higgs Raccoon 19:14, 28 July 2011 (EDT)

Just a question on wording...[edit]

Hey, Sine, I had a question for you, regarding the specific wording you used on a page( http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Suiraqua ). Suiraqua has since disappeared and I was trying to get in touch with him again, but I really don't know how. Anyways, to the wording... You said 'was' in the stub about him, indicating past tense and that he was no longer an anthro-dragon writer/musician. I was wondering if you had more information on this?

Nonewhatsoever, and that wasn't my change of wording: see the edit history of the article. Good luck in your search. -- Sine 01:05, 20 September 2011 (EDT)

Merging PanzerschreckLeopard and Laya Eateric[edit]

Why did you merge them? I figured that they worked better as separate articles, if I plan on doing long bio's. Now it's a bit of a mess...plus, I noticed tags on the Laya article months ago suggesting that someone had thought that Laya was my online name! Merging them doesn't make it much better. At least, I may just re-write the whole article about me...which I don't remember starting anyway. ^^; --PanzerschreckLeopard 20:31, 22 September 2011 (EST)

Is the norm of Wikifur to keep a user's persona/character/fursona within said user's article, except in very rare cases were the character is well known enough to warrant its own article (see Max Black Rabbit and Zig Zag) - 72.130.6.21 23:31, 22 September 2011 (EDT)

Wulf Howl?[edit]

Hello. The page Wulf Howl is an informative page about a website, similar to that of Werelist's page. --98.86.133.132 14:43, 3 October 2011 (EDT)

Realms Magazine[edit]

Feel free to remove if you think it's not relevant. I made the page mostly to reference the furry-related articles I wrote for it. Other pages seem to exist to report on similar instances of media mention.

Yay added people[edit]

Terribly impressed by what all you've been able to find and get in place from the People to add list. Just wanted to let you know! -- Sine 12:47, 17 October 2011 (EDT)

Seconded. It's really appreciated. Equivamptalk 13:47, 17 October 2011 (EDT)
Thanks Sine. I think between the two of us we've managed to whittle a fair chunk out the list, and there are still some I'm sure I can make articles for.
I'd welcome your thoughts on those I've tried searching for without success, but not outright deleted. (There are some names where there are plenty of Google hits, but nothing that immediately springs out as relevant.) --Higgs Raccoon 10:17, 20 October 2011 (EDT)

Eurofurence 18[edit]

Can you please undelete this page? It was deleted because no information was available but now there is some information. Thank you! Rua Whitepaw 07:09, 24 October 2011 (EDT)

Artificial Permanent Pigmentation[edit]

Artificial Permanent Pigmentation[edit]

You've said that this article needs more context. The article states that the APP process is a part of a furry character's back story, has been part of a roleplaying story arc on various MUCKs and is a fictional process for producing tattoo-like effects on furred creatures. I am unsure what additional context could be added. Buckshaw 1 December 2011

Cleanup[edit]

What about my article (Immelmann) needs clean-up? Immelmann 17:27, 18 December 2011 (EST)
