Sorry about the 'blanking', I was removing old information before I dropped in a bunch of new information. I thought I'd have the time to update everything before it got reverted, and seeing the old information back confused me. (I wanted to make the page more organized). Hope you like the clean up.  :)

There is a fur named Malamute. He hangs out in #theden on Anthrochat.
I think that redirect should be removed.

If you feel that you can contribute on this page, do so. --Rat 06:48, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
Reiterating what Rat just said, I would also like to point out that all links regarding Malamutes refer to the Alaskan Malamute which is a breed of dog. So the redirect towards dog. It would probably be wise to put up a disambig page.--Kendricks Redtail 09:12, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

The image Image:Taurenwarrior ink.jpg needs copyright status resolved, same as previous images that need it. --Rat 22:05, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

What do I do?[edit]

A great many of these articles are getting deleted, or already got deleted, or are getting shredded to pieces constantly on the real Wikipedia, which is why I moved them here. Am I not supposed to do that? Timmy the Tigress 03:55, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Just understand that the same is likely going to happen here. Many of this have only the loosest ties to the furry fandom and may not be appropriate for a wiki about the furry fandom.--Kendricks Redtail 03:57, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
**Sad** I guess the huge anti-furry purge that's going on at Wikipedia now is going to win, then. There's some real hatemongering going on there. Oh, well. Maybe you won't delete a few of my articles and then I'll have saved that many. Is there any other Wiki that might take furry-themed articles so I could move them there? Timmy the Tigress 04:05, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
This is the furry wiki. Don't worry. Many won't be allout deleted, but expect a lot to be trimmed for furry relevancy.--Kendricks Redtail 04:07, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

The reference page link you added to the FurNation article doesn't go anywhere, it just redirects to the main category list. --FuzzWolf 18:19, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

Image rights and descriptions[edit]

Please don't upload images without a description indicating where they come from, or without selecting what license they are being included in WikiFur under. We can't just grab random images off the internet and say "hey, it's cool, we're an encyclopedia". Attribution is required, at the very least. --GreenReaper(talk) 05:25, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

Look up "lame" in the dictionary. --Hyenorse 02:24, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

I did and I also looked up Llama (computer culture). If you think you could make this article better, go ahead. --Kendricks Redtail 04:03, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
I don't care enough, but the order is incorrect. You have the word "lamer" coming from "llama". --Hyenorse 02:35, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

The picture Image:Bastet.jpg looks like it came from Wikimedia Commons. The description page in commons says it's licensed under CC-BY-SA-1.0 while the WikiFur page says CC-BY-SA-2.5. If Commons is the source for the licensing information, that will have to be corrected on WikiFur. Also, licenses with the Attribution condition require that the author be credited. --Rat 03:18, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Image:Minoanbull.jpg needs a copyright tag, same reasons as previous images. --Rat 05:37, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Image:CJInfoPage.jpg, Image:Perndragon.jpg[edit]

The images Image:CJInfoPage.jpg and Image:Perndragon.jpg are currently tagged as a CreativeCommons-Attribution image, which requires that the copyright holder be credited when the image is used. The image pages currently do not provide information on who the copyright holder is. If you are the copyright holder, add that information so that others can credit you. --Rat 04:12, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Pak protectors[edit]

Geez I'm embarrassed. I'm so saturated in Known Space that I tend to assume other people are too. Protectors are relevant to the Kzinti, which were the first Furries-- at least, they're the earliest ones still around-- and people who want to know more about the Kzinti will run into protector references pretty quickly. I thought I should put in the article myself because I'm responsible for about a third of the content anyway. Sorry about the confusion.Matthew Joseph Harrington 19:07, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Name exclusion poll[edit]

You've put your vote in by editing someone else's comment. You should put it in by making a new comment of your own. --Rat 01:44, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

I really didn't have anything to add to the discussion except for my actual vote. Sorry if I didn't do that right. --Kendricks Redtail 02:08, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Request for Review[edit]

As it's impossible to leave Spirou a message on his Talk page, and requests for review are being ignored on the article's talk pages, I'll once again point out the draft page is now ready for review. —Xydexx 15:02, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
