Hi AmyFoxx, Welcome to WikiFur! Thank you for registering an account - we look forward to working with you. Let us know if you need any help not already provided. If you would like help creating an article or just editing it, don't hesitate to consult the Furry Book of Style or just contact a curator. Have a nice day! --mwalimu 16:51, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Please don't add categories to your user page that are intended for the main article space. They are fine in AmyFoxx (in fact they are encouraged there) but should not be used in User:AmyFoxx.
As an alternative, you may be interested in adding some user infobox templates to your userpage - for those it's the other way around, i.e. you're welcome to include them in your userpage but they should not be used in regular articles. --mwalimu 17:34, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

"Show preview" button[edit]

When making multiple edits to an article, please use the "Show preview" button to view intermediate changes, and try to limit use of the "Save page" button to when you are finished making all of your changes. Frequent use of "Save page" during editing tends to clutter the article's edit history and the site's change log. --Higgs Raccoon (talk) 09:38, 13 June 2014 (EDT)

Preview vs Save button (#2)[edit]

Again, please note that When making multiple edits to an article, please use the "Show preview" button to view intermediate changes, and try to limit use of the "Save page" button to when you are finished making all of your changes. Frequent use of "Save page" during editing tends to clutter the article's edit history and the site's change log.

DeFormating/comment removal[edit]

Please don't de-format other user's article edits (AmyFoxx), nor remove comments given on the public section of your user page (here). - Spirou (talk) 23:33, 4 July 2014 (EDT)

Hi.[edit]

I'm wondering: why did you wrote "Retrieved ?" on the references in the article about me? - Amyfoxx

"Retrieved" in the reference links indicates just that: When the particular reference was added to the article in question. It would normally read, for example: "Retrieved August 14, 1997.</ref>". Currently the date is unknown (hence the "?") until somebody goes through the article's history page and matches/adds the relevant dates in. - Spirou (talk) 23:59, 4 July 2014 (EDT)

Oh, okay, thanks for the explanation and sorry about any inconvenience. - Amyfoxx

Spirou, I really appreciate if you keep the information about me, the way I'm writing 'cause some of them are wrong in the way you are editing (datas and facts), thank you. - Amyfoxx

Continuous article nitpicking[edit]

(A) All data has been formatted several times, please stop reverting the edits, (B) artistic/social handles other than the name appear after the main name/handle (e.g. AmyFoxx, also known as Föxx Salema or just Föxx), (C ) No previous mention that you do not wish the handle Föxx Salema/Föxx to appear on the article has come up until now, if that's so, removal of your Facebook, Twitter and YouTube sites will have to be implemented, as they contained that data on the external links themselves (e.g. Föxx Salema on Facebook, Föxx Salema on Twitter, Föxx Salema on YouTube) and (D) editors should not have continuously repair the de-formatting of an article this many times. - Spirou (talk) 11:19, 5 July 2014 (EDT)

I already send a private message to Higgs Raccoon and to you too (in FA), and I'm asking you to stop re-editing (posting informatiom that did not correspond to reality) the article.Amyfoxx
(...) All information used to edit this article have originated from your input (1, 2, 3, etc,...). No "informatiom that did not correspond to reality" has been added, the information provided has only been tweaked to correspond to the Furry Book of Style, which has been explained to you several times why they were edited that way. - Spirou (talk) 11:35, 5 July 2014 (EDT)
There's no need to protected the article, I already send to you and Higgs (via private message) my reasons: the datas used in the artcle are wrong.
And I'm sorry, but other articles (even about Higgs and other staff members) doesn't follow the "Furry Book of Style", so I'm asking you: (at least) do not use datas/years 'cause they are wrong (I'm not an LGBT activist just since 2012 and/or a singer just since 1994, it has been more years than that). - Amyfoxx (EDT)
Article protection is lifted. Please help us with the date issue. - Spirou (talk) 13:29, 5 July 2014 (EDT)
Okay, thank you, I'll see what I can do about it. - Amyfoxx (EDT)

Hi.[edit]

Could you please, take a look here and help? http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/User_talk:AmyFoxx - Amyfoxx

As you wanted it removed, I have edited out your full name. Also, as you indicated your activism predates 2012, I have removed the reference to that particular year. Are there any other issues you have with the article?--Higgs Raccoon (talk) 13:34, 5 July 2014 (EDT)
Oh, thank you, just the data about "how long" I'm a singer (I would like to keep the information but not the year itself). - Amyfoxx (EDT)

Email Change: AmyFoxx[edit]

Hi, I changed my email address (in both accounts: english and portuguese), but even after hours, I didn't receive any of the confirmations. What can I do?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by AmyFoxx (talkcontribs) .

Hi AmyFoxx. You might want to ask GreenReaper. He's the person with the tools and experience if there's a problem with an account or the basic functioning of WikiFur.--Higgs Raccoon (talk) 05:58, 10 March 2016 (EST)
Okay, I will, thank you.--AmyFoxx (talk) 09:57, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
This is due to a configuration issue with the WikiFur server. I will try to fix this today, but it will need coordination with Timduru. Manually enabling your change on our end will not help because your own server is refusing to accept the mail (because it can't confirm this server is intended to send mail from us). --GreenReaper(talk) 10:08, 10 March 2016 (EST)
This should now be resolved. On our side the indication is that the mail was sent. If it appears, but is in your spam folder, please indicate to them that it is not spam. :-) --GreenReaper(talk) 10:44, 10 March 2016 (EST)
It worked, (once again) thank you.--AmyFoxx (talk) 14:08, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
