Oxide "Bartholomew" Crux, also known as Oxide or Oxi, is a crazy crux created in 2014, who wants to be more known in the fandom, without losing sight of friends and what's important.
Biography[edit]
Hatched in an alien lab in December of 1988, off the coast of imagination, he broke out of the lab when he turned 8. Oxide developed his green glow at the age of 13. A freak episode involving too much stress sent him to his first Asylum, The Whispering Winds. He stayed there until the age of 15, where he got tired of the constant rules and regulations of the asylum. Upon getting caught a year later, he was assigned to a space jail, with a Mental Ward. He still resides there to this day, waiting for the opportunity to escape.
Fursonas[edit]
Oxide has a total of 14 fursonas. Each of them has their own distinct personality and charm.
Most of them is kind of inactive, however. Only the active ones are shown.
- Riven Husky
Riven J. Husky was actually the first fursona that Oxide had. He was once fit and toned, he wanted a bit of fat to even things out. The machine that was supposed to help him malfunctioned, turning him fat. He is also the mascot to Husky Husky Studios, a fursuit making studio owned by Oxide and his friend Zener Coyote.
- Gick Sergal
Gick is an alien species that is native to the Planet Vilous. His lifestyle is that of a party-goer.
- Coheed Ratson
Coheed is a rodent, a rat that loves cheese. He had a sister named Cambria, but she left some time ago.
- Lumer Fizgerald
Lumer is a rabbit with a white lions mane and a flame symbol on his upper right arm. He sometimes enjoys being a diaper fur. He loves the experiments given by the same crazy scientist that hatched Oxide.
Involvement with Furry Raiders[edit]
In early January 2021, the Twitter page Nazifur Receipts posted a member list of the Furry Raiders telegram group, revealing that Oxide was an active member. He confirmed this himself with a twitter post showcasing his character wearing the classic "Raider" red armband. After being spoken with and educated about the Raiders and what they stand for and being shown that they were in fact Nazis, Oxide swore to leave the furry raiders behind to redeem his reputation, but it was found out only a few days later that he lied about leaving the Telegram group and instead created an alt account, gloating about being able to stay active in both groups. This, as well as his harassment of popular crux figures in the past, has led him to be permanently disowned from the crux community.
