Tess Calhoun (born October 23)[1] is the person behind the character Tess the Red Pony. She and her husband, Rick, hosted monthly house parties at their home in Garden Grove, California, U.S.A, under the title Rick's Café Terrestrienne, until they moved away from the region in early 2005. She now hosts a new house party in the Northwest, called Rick's Island Café Terrestrienne.
She has attended conventions including Califur and Further Confusion.
