Yiff.party's contact information is in Japan. Japan allows exhibition of copyrighted works, without permission or the copyright holder, provided there is no entry fee and the performer isn't paid. IANAL but without further information assuming yiff.party's scraping is illegal is unjustified and more than likely false.

I do not believe that is true, but even if it is, it does not matter. Japan has signed the Berne Convention, which does make it illegal, and supersedes it. In addition, their web host appears to be in France (Or Canada), not Japan. KiTA (talk) 22:52, 27 December 2017 (EST)
