Talk:Y?

Y? is a featured comic, which means it has been identified as one of the best comic articles produced by the WikiFur community. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

Concerning this article:

The author is Chad Burbidge. This article lists the creator of Y as "Gordon McVey", even though the account and site hosting Y? is credited to "Chewdy" (Chad Burbidge) and both in-print version of the book list "Chad Burbidge" as the author. Gordon McVey is, in fact, the person who developed the Y? official website. He does not draw the comic.

I have tried to correct this error, but have had my corrections omitted.

Thanks for the corrections. The reason they were reverted is that the only name listed actually on the site is the name in the line "Powered by iStrip 1.6.3 © 2002 - 2005 Gordon McVey". Now, if you look at this on its own it's clear that this is the copyright for the comic software, but as it's the only name on the page and is right next to a copyright symbol I can understand why the original mistake was made.
If you happen to know Chad, you might want to suggest that he puts his name on it as well! *grins* --GreenReaper(talk) 04:26, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
I did a little googling, and I (eventually) found this link, which credits Y? (as well as Timo and Bev and the non-furry comic Blown a Wish) to C. Burbidge. That sort of backs up the statement above, though Chad may want to put his name on the site somewhere if he wants credit.--Duncan da Husky 12:15, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
I should mention that I tried doing a WHOIS on the domain name as well, but it was a "domain registered by proxy". :-( --Dmuth 15:00, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
Wait a second, "both in-print versions of the book"? Has Y? actually been published? Knifs38 00:58, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Knifs38

Having trouble editing the "about" section, as the image keeps getting laid down over the text. Suggestions? Fixes? (Rolandguiscard 17:16, 26 July 2006 (UTC))

It doesn't overwrap with me. Firefox and 1024 x 768. Spaz Kitty 17:28, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
