Talk:Waitlist

Hmm, this brings up a question that's been bugging me. I don't claimed to be versed in general wiki style, but intuitively it seems to me that redirects would be for synonyms, alternate spellings or capitalizations, etc. Instead of redirecting, wouldn't a brief explanation of a waitlist followed by a pointer to the APA article be more in order? I'd make the edit myself, but before I go stomping around I'd like to get a feel for what the accepted format might be. (No criticism intended to Sebkha, just trying to figure out what's what) --Duncan da Husky 12:15, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I'm myself a bit inconsistent in the APA article, in that of the two ancilliary terms that got defined, "minac" got its own entry and "waitlist" just a redirect and a paragraph embedded in the APA article. I'm cool with someone else ripping that paragraph out into a separate article if they prefer. Be bold! --Sebkha 13:16, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Article update #1 (April 17 2009)[edit]

Updating the entry's appropriateness status. Keep or delete? - Spirou 03:23, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Weak delete. While i have no reason to delete it, any reader could look the term on in any mainstream reference and have a pretty good understanding what is being discussed. --Rat 06:44, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
This is pretty much exactly what I was going to say. I can't imagine anyone seeing this term and not immediately knowing what it means. Plus, nothing on Wikifur links to it. -- Natasha Softpaw ( talk | contribs ) 09:57, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
