Categories[edit]

I don't think we should be categorizing things as both Category:Roleplaying games and Category:Multiplayer worlds, though we do need to make a clear distinction. I would characterize Roleplaying games as rule-based to a much more significant extent, although I'm not quite sure if that could be used as a defining characteristic.-- Sine 06:23, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

I was unsure of this too. Given that it actually stats that it is a roleplaying game, perhaps it should just be in that? --GreenReaper(talk) 06:41, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
Roleplaying game is used as a generic term; I've often seen it applied to roleplaying things we've been terming, and categorizing, as multiplayer worlds. I think we should have Category:Roleplaying games for rules-based games (perhaps even solely for published ones) rather than free-form ones. -- Sine 06:46, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

reword start?[edit]

Article starts with "The Realm of Kaerwyn is an IRC-based roleplaying game by Jakkal, the creator of the webcomics Black Tapestries, Crimson Fury: Legend of the Red Wolf, and the artist/co-creator of The Realm of Kaerwyn, a webcomic based off the RPG." I was wondering if that should be rephrased or shortened (partially because some info already in Jakkal article). How about changing the latter part to: "by Jakkal, the creator of various webcomics and co-creator of The Realm of Kaerwyn webcomic which is based on the RPG." ? --EarthFurst 22:08, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

If that information is not immediately relevant to the topic concerned, I don't think it should be in the article. --GreenReaper(talk) 21:25, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
I've removed the non-Kaerwyn info. --EarthFurst 22:52, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

The Town and Rifting[edit]

The town is commonly referred to as Fengov-Endai, and in practice the Tavern sees most rifts because it's the focal point of most activity. 14:49, 10 June 2007 (GMT)
