Wasn't there more than one Lion King MUCK at some point? I remember trying to play on one of them (whether it's this one of the other, I forgot), but couldn't find a way to integrate into the "predefined conflict" that was postulated at that time, and left again after a short time. - Unci 16:18, 9 Nov 2005 (UTC)

I seem to recall one or two other TLK-themed MUCKs back when I was involved in TLK fandom (I've never been much of a MUCKer myself). I don't remember what they were called, who ran them, or anything else. --mwalimu 14:45, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)
I checked with my partner, who used to be on TLK Muck, and he mentioned that there is also Pridelands MUCK, though I can't log in from work to see if this is just an old, dead page or if it is still a going concern. I can't seem to find any info about it that postdates 1999.
Additionally, I came across references to Illusions of Pridelands MUCK, but outside of this page I can't find much more about it.--Duncan da Husky 15:27, 10 Nov 2005 (UTC)

There are a number of Lion King MUCKs other than The Lion King MUCK still in operation. To my knowledge, the only three still functioning on a playable level are The Lion King MUCK itself, Endless Round MUCK, and Sunrise MUCK. A list of others from the past decade, both operational and closed, can be found on Rhal's MU* page, as well as on http://www.lionking.org .

We have our own list at Category:The Lion King multiplayer worlds. --GreenReaper(talk) 23:10, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

Wizard and staff positions[edit]

KDelany 22:05, 7 November 2006 (UTC): I've added a section to describe the position of mages. My information is from the following, copied from a December 1998 log I have saved:

About the 'Mage' position itself: These are Wiz-bitted players, but
without access to nor One, nor the Muck account itself (database,
logs, etc). We don't need more 'administration-type' wizards, but we
do need a stronger online presence to answer the growing number
of requests. Mages will deal with all aspects of online life that
Wizards do. They can @toad, suspend and @boot if they need to.
They will mostly handle Character management. Please give few
days to the new Mages to adapt to their new condition :)

mini ASCII art[edit]

That mini ASCII art is pretty cool. It looked like a picture when I saw it on the front page. Deafleas 00:18, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Characters and Activity[edit]

I think it would be helpful to have some information about the number of characters and the number of active characters and how they have changed over the years; alas, I don't have any of that information, myself. 68.43.228.63 21:29, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Consistency issue?[edit]

Unless I'm reading things wrong, it seems as though there is a consistency issue in this article. In the first section it says there are three prides, and later it seems to say that there are four prides.Bunnyhugger 01:41, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
