Talk:The Lion King II: Simba's Pride

I'll attempt to find sources for this page when I get the time. I've heard all of them (except for the Simba-dying thing and Chaka). Several of the Outlander-related ones are in cut scenes I've seen. Spaz Kitty 18:48, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

I don't have sources I can point to, but I'm pretty sure at least some of those ideas were accurate. A couple of them (Nuka's last words and Zira committing suicide) were among several lines/scenes that were in the pre-release version of the film that a number of people saw but which were dropped late in the production, apparently in an effort to make the movie more kid-friendly (most serious TLK fans thought the movie would have been better if they had been left in). Chaka/Shani was widely disseminated (though I don't recall where it originated), and when Cheech Marin (Banzai) was doing interviews in support of the movie "Tin Cup" he stated that one of the other projects he was working on was recording lines for "Simba's Pride". I remember hearing of "Binti" but don't recall whether it was in connection with TLK itself or "Simba's Pride". The others I'm not as familiar with. --mwalimu 19:07, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
