Are you certain? My information comes from TOR (Tim O'Rourke) himself, and though he is not 100% certain about the reference to him, it seems improbable it would be anyone else because I would not expect TOR to be a common set of initials in the field of cervid information and interest. Tim O'Rourke has a very extensive professional history working with deer and other cervids, upon which the novel is based. While it is possible the reference is to a different TOR, the combination of the factors makes it seem unlikely, unless there is some evidence to the contrary (from David Clement-Davies himself).
If you are David Clement-Davies, and/or have received direct information contradicting what logically seems the most likely explanation in the absence of any such information. I would appreciate if you could post such for clarification. --Chibiabos 02:26, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I've just received confirmation from TOR that he very recently received confirmation the reference was not to him, its just a coincidence after all. My bad! --Chibiabos 03:17, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
Merging in particular works[edit]
I don't see any reason to have separate articles on particular works. Any objections to merging Dirty Deer, The Stag Party, and Whitetail Ale into this article? -- Sine 07:39, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
