Hello! This is Sly Rabbit.

I just added a handful of stories to my page to show my writing style. THe first time I sent them, though, my wiki entry was deleted by a moderator. If this was a problem of copyright, I hope to rectify that here and now. (After all, it is my work.) If it's a question of putting the wrong information in the wrong place, please let me know.

Actually, the problem was more that since it was done from someone not signed in, it wasn't clear if it was vandalism or intentional. Keeping in mind that WikiFur is not intended to be a repository of stories or poetry, it's fine to provide examples of such things. A better location for them, since they are not encyclopedic and statements of fact, are in User space. This means that a story (let's say, "The Cat in the Hat") would be better placed under User:SlyRabbit/The Cat in the Hat. To create such a page, all you have to do it type in the desired URL (in that example, http://en.wikifur.com/w/index.php?title=User:SlyRabbit/The_Cat_in_the_Hat) and edit the page that you get back. Once you create the pages you can link to them from the Sly Rabbit article. Please let me or any other administrator know if you need any help with this. ----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 17:20, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Actually, I'm not sure about that, as it would probably the violate the section about "file storage". I'd also like to point out that these stories are already published on the subject's story page. --Douglas Muth 18:02, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
Now that I think of it, if the subject would like to link to individual stories from the article and provide summaries, I don't think there would be any issues. --Douglas Muth 18:05, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
That seems the right thing to do, unless there is no other storage and the work itself is of sufficient notability (in which case it would probably be best to put it on a separate page in the User: space). We should tend towards describing content rather than containing it. Of course, there is a lot of good original content on WikiFur, but it was constructed here, as a group effort. --GreenReaper(talk) 09:40, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Yay, nice to see you[edit]

Not sure how this thing works, but its good to catch with TSA-talk people here. Does Phil have a page on here? I feel sad about your eyes, though it's apt that we're bunnies...
