I don't think people are going to come here looking for fire skinks...perhaps a note at the beginning of the article reading, "This article is about the person. For the reptile, see skink."? Like you said, this is a species not common in the furry fandom (unlike foxes, which are quite common) so an article on them wouldn't be helpful, and moving this article wouldn't be neccesary.
