Talk:Skadjer
I can understand that more descriptive remarks might be considered too biased, and therefore removed. I can even understand taking out the Cartoonist and Animator categories if those are reserved for certain TYPES of cartoonists and animators, though a quick perusal of those categories does not show anything that would exclude Skadjer. But trimming the Dinosaur character category? I wouldn't have thought that categories would be so mutually exclusive. It seems to me that since the Dinosaur characters category exists, Skadjer should be just as much a part of it as any of the rest of the varied dinosaur characters, listed on that page or anywhere in the fandom, no matter what species!
I'm doing my best to learn the proper way to edit this wiki, but some of the edits being made confuse me. Real information is being removed. --ScullyRaptor 19:36, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- I think that the Dinosaur category was removed because the Raptor category is already a subset of the Dinosaur category, so it's not necessary to add them both. (Similarly, if a character was an orca, you'd use the Orca category and not need to also use the broader Cetacean category.) --Higgs Raccoon 19:53, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- Looking now, I see how the raptor category is listed there on the dinosaur page. Does that mean that all other dinosaurs should further be sorted by species/type if specified? --ScullyRaptor 22:24, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
