Why wouldn't this be relevant? It's related to the Kzinti, and they were the first furries.

- (Copy of message to admin)I'm embarrassed. I'm so saturated in Known Space that I tend to assume other people are too. Protectors are relevant to the Kzinti, which were the first Furries-- at least, they're the earliest ones still around-- and people who want to know more about the Kzinti will run into protector references pretty quickly. - I hope the added material clears up any difficulty. Sorry I didn't include it before. I try not to overwrite, and I spend a lot of time communicating with people who know all about it. - There may be much in what you say. I just wanted the information available. The concern that led me to create this page was that the Wikipedia article is shot through with errors, and every attempt to correct them is removed at once.
