Disputed Text[edit]

I removed (or I was going to remove, before Giza beat me to it :-) the phrase "dedicated to create a convention that's open and welcoming to all furs, uniting the comunity." Aside from the fact that this is pretty much advertising puffery, it also hints in a not-so-Neutral-Point-Of-View that some or all of the existing conventions are not open and welcoming, something with which i would strongly disagree. If you want to state that you're uniting the Fur Affinity community, that's fine. Otherwise, I don't think that the phrase belongs in the article. ----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 16:02, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

Not only that, but it seems to be useless text, as the implication of most conventions is to allow a welcoming environment for all furs within the community. Typically, that's what a convention is about. A restaraunt wouldn't advertise "come to our restaraunt, and we'll feed you!" It's implied that they'd already do that. :) Verix 18:18, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
