I see KISS as a comment more on the complexity of a concept, than on the length of its explanation. It's the difference between "The atmosphere acts as a prism and bends blue light from the sun down to our eyes." and "Quantum refraction breaks apart the solar emissions; which, being spread, are then reflected based on wavelength, thickness, ion content, the local angle of incidence between the sun and the curvature of the atmosphere's layers, and various other factors..."
In other words, I suggest this definition be rewritten to convey a more accurate meaning, though I'm not sure what exact wording would be best. -- Siege 03:01, 5 Nov 2005 (UTC)
