Due to several vandalism attempts over the past few days, this article has been temporarily protected. Upon further research, it appears that Jeremy Bernal has attempted to sue WTFur for posting his art. Spaz Kitty 20:28, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, that's not an attempt to sue, it is a DMCA notification that is sent to the service provider (in this case Arcturus' host) to remove the work without a lawsuit. Under the DMCA Safe Harbor provisions, service providers are able to avoid the usual consequences of illegally distributing copyrighted works (i.e. getting fined) as long as they remove them upon proper notification, which the above appears to be. --GreenReaper(talk) 20:43, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

- You're the one looking like an armchair lawyer Douglas, Bernal has openly made wild claims/allegations about cho0b of WTFUX outside of this lawsuit matter. lol @ hypocrite talking about stuff he knows nothing about.
- My mad armchair lawyer skills seem to be working pretty well for me so far. After all, I'm not the one getting sued. --Douglas Muth 02:17, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Its all gravy dudes Bernal may not get money but he got exposure dont forget that as long as someone knows you drew it then its good for you as an artist as long as no one claimed they drew it instead of him but thats easy to shoot down due to a unique style QED - Makalu —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 18.104.22.168 (talk • contribs)

2 refs at pleasedontsue.com were added 11 August 2006 and removed 3 January 2010. I checked archive.org and their archives of those pages don't show anything that i think can be used as a reference (archives display a MySQL error message, "Invalid ID! ..." and a banner image by Mellis). --EarthFurst 19:27, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
