Some factoids gathered for my recent edit to Furry, in which I summarized the results of fursuit parade counts as a percentage of convention attendance:

• Anthrocon
  • 2009: 640/3776 = 16.9%
  • 2008: 453/3390 = 13.4%
  • 2007: 353/2849 = 12.4%
• Further Confusion
  • 2009: 530/2587 = 20.5%
  • 2008: 387/2423 = 16.0% (or 354/2423 = 14.6% if you go by the lower disputed figure)
  • 2007: 287/2062 = 13.9%
• Midwest Furfest
  • 2008: 358/1992 = 18.0%
  • 2007: 286/1690 = 16.9%
  • 2006: 213/1422 = 15.0%
• Furry Weekend Atlanta
  • 2009: 201/1371 = 14.7%
  • 2008: 165/1046 = 15.8%
• RainFurrest
  • 2009: 157/905 = 17.3%
  • 2008: 89/599 = 14.9%
• FurFright
  • 2008: 146/873 = 16.7%
  • 2007: 98/717 = 13.7%

There was no data available for Eurofurence or Califur. Observations:

• There seems to be an upward trend over the last three years.
• Conventions that take place during cooler months tend to have higher percentages.
