CYD Quote[edit]

Where exactly is The Tyrant supposed to have coined the "Cesspool of Sex and Gay lust" phrase? On CYD? I can't find it - or anything like it - anywhere on the site. And CYD's the only site he's posted on using that alias. This badly needs a link or some other proof that it ever happened. Mitch 11:18, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

Hmm, looks like it was in the message board that CYD had in 2002. Let me see if I can find the saved paragraph Spirou 16:16, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
I can't find a way to access the old board (404,) and I don't know if I saved said passage (will check later.) Until then I will temp remove the quote, Mitch Spirou 16:29, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Doh! As soon I press "save page," my computer search engine pips up "one entry found,"... Xp Here's the The Tyrant post with the first usage of that phrase (cropped to relevant information):

Hmmm, you are partially right. I agree with you up to the {But when people start pointing fingers at someone and yelling "Wow, look how weird he is! Dont I look better because he is so weird?" It kind of makes you look like you are the messed up one.} part. You see, I have yet to hear anyone here say that or make any comment to that level. In fact, I don't think there is anyone here that harbors that kind of feeling about Furries or their 'extremities.'

A lot of the people who now speak out against the Furry scourge, use to be 'Furries' themselves. (I use this term very loosely since it is so general.) Thinking that perhaps they might run across others who share their own appreciation for Anthro art or other such related interest, lower end Furry victims find themselves cast into the cesspool of sex and gay lust that is now main stream furrydumb.

Most go mad, lunging headlong into the inferno of noxious gasses, becoming slave to the debauchery machine, others survive to speak out against this monster and warn others like them, to beware.

It is weird, I'll be the first to admit it, to you and the whole world. It's completely weird, and I should know. I myself have a 'thing' for Minerva Mink, if you will. A little pink nosed mink, that happens to have the gorgeous body of a 1950's pin-up model, and the attitude to make it all work. Not quite a human, but not a mink for that matter. It's weird, completley freakin' weird, and I know it.

But this is where we find our incongruity. The furries that people like me so shockingly point out, are the ones who DON'T think it's weird, and for that matter, feel what they do, is perfectly normal.

Think about that for just a second and let the utter nonsense seep in real good. These obnoxious Furries, who draw spooge of copy-righted characters, harass animators and studios, behave in manners that even the most unhouse-broken mutt off the streets of New York City would be offended of, then claim to have collated some form of a bloody religion, think they are totally normal and will get right in your face about it. Naturally we are hateful for being shocked and embarrassed by these actions. Go figure.

Messedupguy, no one here is casting stones under the assumption that they are 'perfect'. Nor are they picking on Furries for no better reason then that they are weird. As a matter of fact, I'm sure just about anyone here would tell you that they too, fall under the weird category in some form or the other. (Except for the furries I mentioned before.) You yourself even admit the weirdness, which takes a good portion of guts to say.

I hope that you understand what I'm talking about here and that none of us are speaking harshly without just cause and good reason."

Whoa! I stand corrected, Spirou! Mitch 16:53, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
No, no. it's just that it seems that this was located on a old board system (anBB?, ahBB?,) so, there has been no way to track reference material on any type of these web board if they go offline (a la "wayback machine" site) that at least that I know off (if anybody knows of one...) That phrase usage is very tenuous on the "multiple use, multiple site" rule (i.e. not as widely used as other terms on the article) to begin with, so we just reword the article =P Spirou 18:20, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
