Talk:Furry breeder

Like several other articles (I'm thinking of Furry Hitler and Furry Lawyering, but the list seems destined to keep growing) I don't think this is a specifically furry term at all. The term Breeder is generic, and "furry" is simply an adjective about the "breeder" in question. The cited reference quite clearly coined the phrase "furry breeder" on the spot. --Sebkha(talk) 15:41, 18 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Perhaps this information should be moved to an article about the livejournal group, then? --GreenReaper(talk) 18:00, 18 Sep 2005 (UTC)
I'm open to the idea. I just added the term after hearing about it at FC2005 itself during a discussion (Read: Fight) between two female furs, with one being labeled as such by the other. I just kept in memory to look it up on line later. With conversations with female friends later, they confirmed the use of it, mostly as an insult, by furries that felt that couples should not bring, as I was "informed", their "spawn" to mingle a cons, and the term was again used to single out the wife of a well known Furry artist (who is already feature here). But, looking at it that way, it feels like more than a rare used insult, than a commonly used term,... as before, I'm open to the suggestion. Spirou 19:24, 18 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Within the confines of the furry community, in the past 10 years the only context in which I have heard the term 'breeder' used is in the form of a derogatory (albeit usually in jest) comment about someone being hetrosexual (usually among a group of homosexual furs).
