Conflict of interest[edit]

WikiFur's editors often grant individuals a certain amount of control over truly personal information about them. But a website is not an individual - and as articles such as History of Fur Affinity show, those who run them stand in the public light, at least as far as decisions on their own websites are concerned. If the Furocity staff prefer to present a particular view of their website, they are welcome to do so on said website. Conversely, if they'd like to convince the WikiFur community that the only reference available for why certain material is banned while other material isn't should not be used, they are welcome to try here. I admit to being somewhat confused, as the opinion given is quite reasonable, and in my eyes it doesn't reflect poorly on the staff concerned. However, trying to hide it does. --GreenReaper(talk) 23:35, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

LJ Citation[edit]

Hahaha. I was wondering when someone was going to remove that citation. I mean really, I'm not an authority on anything, you silly furries. \ :V /

Regardless, thanks for spiffying up the page, GR.--Benchilla 13:42, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Is Furocity dead?[edit]

Ever since the whole FurAffinity merger failure, hacking, and fake Gavin incident, it's been down. I can't find any information about it from later than 2011. Is Furocity dead and gone? -- OrnateWolf 22:07, 11 September 2012 (EDT)

It's hard to say, isn't it? Seems to have been down again for several days now. --GreenReaper(talk) 20:21, 4 February 2013 (EST)
Looks like we need to past-tense this. Also, there is a furocity.org now, apparently. --GreenReaper(talk) 22:42, 20 August 2013 (EDT)
It was at least up once within the last two weeks when I went to check an user's article entry. Do we start the "Two weeks down before official dead" (until September 3, 2013) clock now then, or just go right ahead with the change?. - Spirou 23:47, 20 August 2013 (EDT)
