I was thinking of updating the old logo to the one currently in use at the site, but I'm not sure if I should just upload it as is, or if it should be cropped a bit first to only include the title... what would be the most ideal in this case? --MKerris 21:38, 30 Dec 2005 (UTC)

There are actually eight logo's right now. I just have not gotten around to rotating them in a while. I would prefer if they were not posted as yet though. -- Ayukawataur

We need to remove the use of the old logo in this article. It is no longer representive of FurBid-SF being retired in May of 2005. This request is being made as the owner of the image and the trademark/servicemark it represents. unreferenced ?

this article does not cite sources because it was mostly written by the person who would be the source. she never considered that she may have to reference herself for documentation of herself.

if you are looking for a documented history online, there will not be one to reference as both jeff and i kept/keep internal matters internal.

if you would like, i can provide some references, such as mascots and such, however, the majority of the complaints regarding fees have been locked up for more than two years and are not made public for drama control.

What references you can provide would be a great addition, and thank you for your contributions. External references that can be pointed to are invaluable; information on WikiFur coming solely from edits to WikiFur is recursive and hard to document. -- Sine 00:46, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

the only major problem is that 99% of the documentation you could possibly need to verify most of this is information only i have, or that i control, and i have not made most of it public. or in cases when i have, i tend to keep it very closed circle and do not always log where i placed it. however i will do what i can to help document where i see a 'citation needed' tag.

Thank you for that. Detailed documentation isn't necessarily necessary (if you excluse my clunky phrasing). An external source (perhaps a forum or journal post) which we could point to, where you stated that x and y happened, would work for various things. -- Sine 05:35, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

I see a lot of typeface on this page that is purely the unproven opinion of the owner of the site. Statements such as "It has been through many changes, but has survived to be the most known and stable site of its kind." are purely theoretical unless you have some way to prove the metrics and opinions of the fandom at large, and I find them to be in violation of the spirit and factuality of Wikia. These opinions are debatable and will vary wildly based on who you ask.

Further I see a lot of completely unsupported statements and information that are completely bereft of citations, including tidbits of 'conversation' with third parties who are once again never referenced. Much of the information in this article is irrelevant and extraneous and in my opinion not useful nor important to the history or status of the site, and should be reviewed and trimmed by WikiFur staff. oddly, it has been through many changes. check my livejournal, the early years, as well as the announcements section of our discussion board. they document many of the changes we have had.

she is the oldest site of her kind in the fandom. she has been being used for longer. she has a larger amount of users and a larger amount of auctions running at any given time than any other site of her kind. she has 'never' been shut down due to lack of interest. and, unfortunately, when most people think of furry auction sites, they think 'furbid'.

third party references. you will not find documentation on them. because i do not make internal practices public knowledge in most cases. however, you are welcome to contact those people and ask. since the only really unsupported section is what happened between jeff and myself both before and at carmel, which is a lovely place really - you should try there. you can ask jeff, but if greenreaper wishes, i will bring jeff by the wikifur table at ac.

oh, and that part about why jeff built the original furbid. i really need to have him tell that story to the wikifur staff. it is quite cute the way he does it.

the rest you can find easily enough. since some of them were issues you participated in, it should be more than easy.
