Talk:Fictiophilia
From WikiFur, the furry encyclopedia.
Uh, but this is a mainstream term covering the whole of mainstream's fiction, not a furry term. Maybe if it was included in Toonophilia, but this is not furry lore or terminology - Spirou 05:40, 15 January 2012 (EST)
- And reading more about in online, it seems to have originated, or more ingrained, with the Harry Potter fandom - Spirou 08:30, 15 January 2012 (EST)
- "Most commonly" does not mean "exclusively". I would not be opposed to merging into Toonophilia (although I would prefer it stay here as it is not limited to animated characters). Equivamptalk 17:09, 16 January 2012 (EST)
- Yes, but it seems more geared to "fiction" human characters. None of the hits indicate such as an attraction to a "fictional funny animal/anthro character" (i.e. Bugs Bunny). Merge would be a good idea (with redirect), the only point I just want to make with it is that is not a furry term like Toonphilia. That's all - Spirou 20:16, 16 January 2012 (EST)
