Conifur business manager(s) ?

Does anyone know who was the Conifur business manager for each year? Conifur Northwest 2004 is Wikifur's only Conifur article that names a business manager ("Business Manager: Gene Breshears"). On 2003 Sep 8 Gene Breshears posted to "Phoenix Phurmeet 2005" thread at Flayrah saying "Speaking as the business manager of a small regional furry con" .. so it sounds like he might have been Conifur business manager for Conifur 2003. --EarthFurst 20:42, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

At Further Confusion 2007 dealers' room?

The dealer's room list for Further Confusion 2007 (which starts tomorrow) includes Conifur Northwest. -- Sine 00:48, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Apparently Conifur Northwest had no presence there; presumably the table registration was made before the cancellation, and the table was re-assigned before or during Further Confusion 2007. -- Sine 22:14, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

No longer true. All Fur Fun received a generous donation from Conifur staff - basically all of their art-show panels, their registration desk, tons of supplies, a bunch of old equipment, etc. I'm on AFF staff and have been helping out with the transfer. In the process, we got word from Canaan and Tibo that Conifur has been cancelled for good - they're tired of running it. KieferSkunk 07:12, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure that Canaan wants it publicly announced. I added it to the related articles for documentary accuracy, but he's been basically wanting to lay low about Conifur for a while. Since he's also made it clear he doesn't want to be involved with this wiki, I doubt we'll get an official announcement from him either here or elsewhere, so AFF's announcement is about as official as it gets. While I do respect Dan's wishes not to be covered personally (which is why the page about him is subject to personal exclusion), the demise of Conifur Northwest itself - a registered charity - is a public matter about which there has been speculation for some time. I think James and Dan came to the right decision, as this is a nice way of closing things out; just as the last years of ConFurence led to the formation of Further Confusion and Califur, so Conifur will lead to All Fur Fun and RainFurrest. And yes, I found that part out in the post about the matter which you made on the All Fur Fun LJ. I felt I had to at least try to confirm it. :-) --GreenReaper^(talk) 21:08, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
