All Fur Fun Zero?[edit]

I've seen a reference to the first annual AFF (2007) as "All Fur Fun 0" (like Califur 0 and ConFurence 0). Can someone verify and elaborate if this is officially so? --Frizzy 21:02, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

I don't believe we are officially calling it AFF 0. We've just been referring to it as AFF 2007. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 19:14, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Just to be pedantic[edit]

Re: this edit, 21.5 cm tall by 18 cm = 8.5 x 7 inches :-) ----DuncanDaHusky(talk) 19:28, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Well, let's just include both measure systems so that we can at least try to please Greeks and Trojans. Ekevu 02:45, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
To settle this: Quite simply, the paper for which the book was designed and on which it was printed is standard US Legal size, folded once to create Half-Legal pages. US Legal is defined in inches and thus metric measures are an after-the-fact approximation. Believe me when I say that my use of the Imperial measurement system isn't intended as a slight toward anybody nor is it the result of ignorance on my part; seriously, it's merely a concession to the reality of what paper sizes were available to get a pleasant yet slightly atypical page size without expensive cutting. The measurements I added to the article were found by checking my copy of the conbook with a ruler, so they aren't aproximations except insofar as any physical meaurement is. I used metric measurements because those are the standard I habitually use in bibliographical description, following the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules (second edition, 2002 revision, 2003 update). The article now includes both metric and imperial units, thanks to Ekevu; I perceive no reason to have only one set of numbers or the other. -- KDelany 06:52, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

All Fur Fun 2008[edit]

There have been lots of updates on the site, news and forums. I'd update the All Fur Fun wiki myself, but I tend to...um...suck at it. XD A few highlights... the official dates for AFF '08 are April 18 - 20, 2008, and the con will be held again next year at the Ridpath hotel. The theme for '08 is Pajama Party. The GoH is FoxyFennec (by the same name on FurAffinity). Thanks to whoever takes the time to update, I really really appreciate it, with love and lovesprinkles! Teeka 09:12, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

I updated the main article page for ya. :) — KieferSkunk (talk) — 20:57, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks much! But um...we HAVE announced the theme. It's Pajama Party! :D ...also, I'm an idiot. *signs* Teeka 21:21, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism?[edit]

I noticed the tag on the page itself, saying the page will be locked until the vandalism has been abated. What vandalism? o.o I'm just curious, I have nothing to add to the page right now. XD --Teeka 15:17, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Take a look at this link for an example. Someone blanked the entire page and replaced it with "Furrys suck" several times, likely getting himself blocked. Protecting the page is a natural step in the process to keep us from having to repeatedly revert such edits.
For more information, click on the Article tab to see the main article, then click the History tab to see the edit history for the page. From there, you can click on "Cur" and "Last" next to any edit to see the differences between the current version and the previous version (to that edit), respectively. :) — KieferSkunk (talk) — 03:57, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Would anyone mind if I decreased the protection level to semi-protection? --Rat 04:38, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
Sounds fine to me. So far, the only vandalism we've seen here has been from anonymous IP users. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 22:51, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
