Al Davis was an intrigal part of the furry scene. I think in his time, he collected and spent a lot of time and money helping all furs and artists when ever he could. He made a lot of friends at the many cons he attended and was a familiar sight. Remember, being a fur is not just about being an artist or a character, it's also being the one who always there to lend a helping hand, and that was Al. I'll miss him dearly, and I was glad to have called him my friend.--DLNorton 23:14, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
There needs to be higher standard on this. The "memorable moment" is pretty pointless, and there is more than a fair bit of editorializing. If nothing else, filling in some facts would be appreciated (if he was a philanthropist, what charities did he support, how did he help furries, etc.). I'm sure he was a great guy and all, and we're all dimished by his passing, but this comes across as more memorial than information. 733

Well, since I can't come up with any more on Al, take it out if you wish. I was only trying. Sorry for the inconvenience guys.
