StreamLabs
Streamlabs is a live streaming software service owned by Logitech. The company has offices in San Francisco and Vancouver, and was purchased for $89 million on September 26, 2019.[1] The service integrates tools such as Open Broadcaster Software, a way to manage chat, on-screen visuals for stream viewer interactions, and a method for the streamer to collect tip donations.[2] The service distributes user content via sites like YouTube and Twitch.tv.
StreamLabs and Furries[edit]
Like most YouTubers and Twitch streamers, furries often rely on StreamLabs as a way for their viewers to donate and help support their content. As monetization has become harder on some platforms especially in the case of YouTube, StreamLabs has greatly benefited these creators. Much like Patreon, those who donate get things in return such as a personalized message that is played whenever someone donates.
