StratosFur is a new upcoming furry convention in Houston, Texas, USA. It will be held at the Hyatt Regency Houston International Airport Hotel from August 14 to August 15, 2021. Its parent organization is B.O.O.P. (Board of Opportunity and Outreach for Panspeciesm).
Its tagline is "A Con in Houston for all Furkind".
Background[edit]
Shortly after returning from Texas Furry Fiesta 2019, several Houston area furs were inspired together to start a new furry con in Houston. They decided that StratosFur will have an outer space theme as a nod to Houston’s role in the history of space exploration including Apollo 11. Houston is home to the NASA Mission Control Center.
As a furry convention in one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the U.S., StratosFur aims to be an experience that reflects these values:
