Silverspot is a short story by Ernest Thompson Seton, from his first collection, Wild Animals I Have Known[1] which was published in 1898. The story is about Silverspot, "the leader of a large band of crows that made their headquarters near Toronto, Canada".[2] The story uses military analogies of crows' roles in the band, and transcribes their calls as musical notes.

Silverspot is briefly mentioned in Redruff, a story also from Wild Animals I Have Known, and set near the same area.
