Siege's Snippets is a podcast hosted by Siege a Ferios, for the purpose of getting his voice on the 'net. Potential content includes factual and philosophical lectures (but not rants), news, interviews, travelogues, stories, music, and humor.
The website and email address were obtained in 2006, but no actual content appeared until Siege finally started building the site in May 2008. The RSS feed was added about two weeks before the first show was uploaded on June 12. There are still visual elements and a sidebar to be added, but the website is otherwise complete. Due to a lack of further episodes as of February 2009, one may safely assume that there may be a few changes in format and guidelines.
Segments[edit]
These are the segments produced so far for the show. The "about" page of the Snippets website contains a full listing of intended segments.
- The Lecture: Siege performs a monologue on a particular topic. The first Lecture was highly "meta", being all about the show itself.
- Tailfluff: Something to think about or enjoy at the close of the show. Siege tries to have some Tailfluff for every episode.
Lingo[edit]
- Meta: Talk about the show and its host, instead of other topics which are presumably more interesting.
